Careers with industrial facilities typically fall into two categories: operators and maintenance technicians. Facility operators monitor, maintain and conduct the processes at their facilities while maintenance technicians install, monitor, replace and repair facility equipment. Operators and maintenance technicians often start in entry-level positions and assume more responsibility as they progress through their careers.

Golden Pass LNG will be hiring qualified operators for its liquefied natural gas export project. Most positions don’t require formal training, but a two-year associate degree in a relevant discipline is strongly preferred. Training programs are available at local colleges.
